The TTP EMEA Conference will be held this year in the Delta Hotel in Vlaardingen, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, for the full week of the 8th April, with optional workshops on the Saturday and Sunday before the event. There will be no charge for TTP members to attend apart from travel and accommodation.
We are really pleased to be able to hold the event in Vlaardingen this year as the location is close to the MicroFocus European Support Centre in Rotterdam so we will have a large source of interesting speakers. We have also timed the event to link up with other commitments Product Managers from Provo have in EMEA so we will be able to have them along for the first few days of the event as well.
The event will follow a similar format to previous years, single track sessions in the mornings and dual tracks in the afternoons. We will provide some entertainment in the events and there will be plenty of time to network with your colleagues and staff from Micro Focus.
For details of the hotels in the area please follow the HOTEL-LINK. Please note that there is no specially arranged rate at any of the hotels as good rates can usually be obtained from the many discounted websites. We have listed the hotels on the link page in order of the time it will take to get from them to the venue. Due to the excellent public transport service in The Netherlands we will not be providing bus's from the hotel to the venue and back as it was thought to be more advantageous to the group to spend this money on the social activities.
For details of the travel options to the conference please follow the TRAVEL-LINK
We are working on this at the moment and will publish a draft in a few weeks time
One of the great values from the TTP events is the time you get to spent discussing topics with your colleagues from other institutions. To help this we have put together some evening entertainment for the week. Follow the ENTERTAINMENT-LINK for more details.
On the Saturday and Sunday 6th and 7th April we will be offering two two-day hands-on workshops. Details of these can be found on the WORKSHOPS-LINK. To take part in these workshops you will need to bring along a laptop with a minimum of 16GB of memory and at least 250GB of free disk space and have VMware Player or Workstation installed.
So if you have any questions at all concerning the event please email Peter Atkins and he will be able to help. We look forward to welcoming you in The Netherlands in April - it will be a busy week.
You will receive a confirmation email once your registration has been submitted. We will then send out Joining Instructions to all registered delegates one week before the event with timings and details of where to go on the first day etc.
Any questions just email Peter Atkins.
